Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Addy Networks ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit addynetworks.com (the "Site") or otherwise interact with us in the course of a consulting engagement. We aim to collect the minimum information needed to operate the Site and serve our clients, and to be transparent about what we do with it.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Contact information — when you email us, book a call via our scheduling tool, or fill out a form, we receive details such as your name, email address, company, and the message you send.
- Engagement information — during a paid engagement, we may receive credentials, documents, codebases, configuration, and other materials necessary to perform the work. These are governed by the confidentiality terms in the relevant Statement of Work.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Log data — our hosting provider and content-delivery network may record standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps, requested URLs) for security and performance purposes.
- Analytics — if and where enabled, we use privacy-respecting analytics (such as Plausible, Fathom, or self-hosted equivalents) to understand aggregate Site usage. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers.
- Cookies — the Site does not set marketing cookies. Strictly necessary cookies may be used to remember interface preferences such as dark/light mode.
2. How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and schedule discovery calls;
- To perform consulting work and deliver agreed-upon outcomes;
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site;
- To send transactional messages (for example, invoices and project updates);
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
3. AI and data handling
Where AI models are used in connection with the Services, we follow a few principles:
- We prefer providers and configurations that do not train on customer data. Where that's not possible, we'll tell you in writing before sending data.
- For sensitive workloads, we use private, BYO-key, or self-hosted inference where appropriate.
- We minimize the data sent to external models — only what is required for the task at hand.
- Outputs from AI models are reviewed before being relied upon for client-facing or regulated decisions.
4. Service providers
We rely on a small set of trusted vendors to operate our business. Each is bound by its own privacy and security commitments. Examples include:
- Hosting & CDN — for serving the Site;
- Email — for transactional and project communication;
- Scheduling — Calendly, when you book a call;
- Payments & invoicing — for processing fees under a Statement of Work;
- AI model providers — such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or self-hosted alternatives, used only as needed and in accordance with section 3.
5. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: (a) your consent, where given; (b) performance of a contract, including responding to your requests and delivering on Statements of Work; (c) legitimate interests, such as operating and securing the Site and communicating with prospective clients; and (d) compliance with legal obligations.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email contact@addynetworks.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and may need to verify your identity.
7. Retention
We retain personal information only as long as needed to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Engagement-related materials are retained according to the terms of the relevant Statement of Work and securely deleted thereafter on request.
8. Security
We apply industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, least-privilege access, and secret hygiene practices. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your information has been compromised, please contact us immediately.
9. International transfers
We are based in the United States and may transfer information to service providers in other jurisdictions. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect cross-border transfers.
10. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, providing additional notice.
12. Contact
Questions, requests, or concerns about this Policy can be sent to contact@addynetworks.com.
